Pultruded Fiberglass Grating is constructed with independent load bars connected by tie bars on 6" or 12" centers to create the panel. Pultruded grating contains a higher percentage of fiberglass reinforcements and is able to support a greater load across longer spans than molded grating. Pultruded grating is unidirectional and must be oriented with the load bars in the span direction for proper support. Pultruded grating is offered in "I" or "T" load bar configurations with a variety of open area spacing to suit your applications. "I" bar grating is typically used in industrial applications where "T" bar is used for pedestrian applications including ADA compliant walkways.
